2009 Tarentaise bull Westcan Windsor 905 a.k.a. “Rusty”- [CAN]8190
This is our new “in the flesh” sire from Westcan Farm in Alberta, who will be looking after our Braunvieh girls. He is just a yearling now, but if we are lucky, his first offspring is expected late 2010. Our Braunvieh-Tarentaise crosses hold much promis.

Fullblood Original Braunvieh bull Swiss Traditon Ivan -[CAN]B11328
Owned by Fieldstone Braunvieh in Alberta, Canada.
We have used this bull as Artificial Insemination sire and own a daughter and son of Ivan. Very nice head on this bull, which he passes on to his offspring. Good temperament typical of the breed.

Fullblood Original Braunvieh steer Three Gables Wilfert -[CAN]B12000
Son of the above bull Swiss Tradition Ivan. This little fellow has exceptional permormance in growth. Natrurally very friendly … too friendly to keep as a bull. Since he is such a nice animal, we are keeping him as a steer, and are training him as future oxen.
